Marlon Sango is a licensed mental health and addiction professional with over eight years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate mental health challenges and substance use disorders. A Denver, Coloradonative, he has worked in intensive outpatient programs, methadone clinics, and detox facilities, providing compassionate, evidence-based care.
Marlon holds a B.A. in Sociology and an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado. He is pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Walden University to become a licensed psychologist, further expanding his ability to support individuals through advanced clinical interventions.
As a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (LMFTC), and National Certified Counselor (NCC), Marlon is highly trained in a range of therapeutic approaches. He is also a Certified Addiction Technician (CAT) and Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS) Trainer, mentoring and educating other professionals in the field.
Marlon specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and trauma-informed care, tailoring his approach to each client’s needs. Passionate about advocacy, he works to make mental health care accessible to underserved communities and supports individuals in their journey to recovery, resilience, and long-term well-being.
